The Appraisal Institute is the world’s foremost organization of professional real estate appraisers. The organization leads the way in fostering and promoting the highest standards of practice through its designation programs, peer review process, education, research, and publishing endeavors.
Appraisal Institute professionals are practicing real estate appraisers and property analysts who provide valuation-related services to such clients as mortgage lenders, financial institutions, government agencies, attorneys, and financial planners as well as homeowners and other individual consumers.
The San Diego Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is comprised of real estate professionals, including more than 200 who hold one or more of the prestigious MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, or AI-RRS designations. Appraisal Institute Designated members have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience, and demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability. Appraisal Institute Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, and Practicing Affiliates are also committed to upholding a strict code of professional ethics.
The Chapter includes members from both San Diego and Imperial Counties.
